Shop Assistant
(Customer service hero!)

Are you someone who loves interacting with people, thrives in a small team, and has a passion for fresh, local food? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

What’s the role?
We’re looking for a Shop Assistant to join our award-winning farm shop.

What will you be doing?

  • Welcoming and serving our wonderful customers with a smile.
  • Unpacking and displaying our delicious, fresh deliveries.
  • Keeping our shelves fully stocked and beautifully presented.
  • Ensuring the shop is clean, tidy, and inviting.

Who are we looking for?

  • Well-presented, friendly, and enthusiastic individuals.
  • A passion for food and people is essential, kitchen experience is a bonus!
  • Someone who enjoys working in a close-knit team and can keep up in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Please note:
This is a physically active role. Expect to be on your feet a lot—we often walk more than 10,000 steps a day! You’ll be lifting boxes, cleaning, and working in our chilled storage areas.

Working hours:
We operate on a flexible rota system, with shifts across all seven days. Shifts typically run from 8 am to 5:30 pm, with shorter shifts on Thursdays (8 am-2 pm or 2 pm-8 pm).

Salary: £27,300 (full time)

Join Our Production Kitchen Team as a Cook!

Are you passionate about good food and eager to be part of a growing kitchen that’s making a mark? We’re looking for someone with culinary experience and a love for cooking to help drive our rapidly expanding production kitchen forward.

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for chefs tired of working nights or individuals with a passion for cooking who are eager to learn and grow. You’ll be part of a close-knit team, creating a wide range of delicious products for our award-winning farm shop.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Baking a variety of sweet treats, home-baked goods, and desserts.
  • Cooking soups, preserves, ready meals, salads, and more to keep our shop stocked with fresh, tasty options.
  • Packaging products with care and ensuring consistent quality.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals with a genuine love for food.
  • Experience in a kitchen is a plus, but a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Working Hours:
We offer both full-time and part-time positions. Our kitchen operates seven days a week, so some weekend work will be required. Daily hours are 8 am to 5:30 pm—no evenings!

Salary: £27,300 (full-time).

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting chefs by keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
  • Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Handling deliveries and ensuring they are properly stored.
  • Helping with basic food preparation when needed.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A dependable and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
  • Someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • No prior experience necessary—just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Working Hours:

Salary: £26,500 (full time)
