I am the eldest of three daughters working in the business and have been managing the shop since 2016. I love food, speaking to people and the environment. I also spend a lot of time in the kitchen at home cooking and baking with my two little boys, so this is my perfect job.

We’re thrilled to share the menu for our Farm to Barn Supper Club at the stunning, multi-award-winning Pratis Barns! This is a true celebration of local, seasonal food, brought to you by passionate chefs and local producers.

Meet the Team

Patrick and Nicola Gilmour, family friends of Ardross Farm, took over Pratis Barns in 2019 — a dream come true for them. They have lovingly transformed this beautiful farm steading into a multi-award-winning venue. Working alongside the talented head chef, Calum, their dedication to local, seasonal food creates the perfect atmosphere for this event.

Patrick and Calum, the talented culinary duo behind Pratis Barns food offering, will be crafting an unforgettable dining experience. With decades of experience across Scotland’s vibrant food scene, their expertise in event catering is unmatched. Listening to them talk about candied beetroot, pickling techniques, and the art of creating the perfect bone broth today, while standing in the sunshine in our veg field, has been truly inspiring.

A Celebration of Local

This is more than just a meal — it’s an immersive dining experience guided by Patrick, Calum and Nikki, who will share the stories behind each dish, the local producers, and the techniques that make every bite special. You’ll also receive recipe cards to recreate some of the dishes at home, deepening your connection to the incredible produce we have in Fife. This collaboration between Ardross Farm and Pratis Barns is a celebration of our local food community. Almost every ingredient used on the night is sourced from local businesses — most of which we proudly stock in our shop. Supporting local and strengthening our community has always been at the heart of what we do.
