We’re thrilled to announce that we have been named a finalist in the prestigious national Farm Retail Awards! Among some of the UK’s most celebrated farm shops, we are honoured to represent Fife in these awards. The Farm Retail Awards shine a spotlight on the hard work and dedication of independent, family-run businesses across the country.
The winners will be announced at a sparkling awards ceremony on Wednesday, March 12th, in Birmingham, where farm retailers from Devon to Scotland will come together to celebrate the year’s achievements. Categories range from Butchery of the Year to Farm Café of the Year, showcasing excellence in every aspect of farm retail.
Our shop has been nominated in the Small Farm Shop of the Year category, celebrating our commitment to quality, sustainability, and community. From our farm-grown seasonal vegetables to our free-range meats and artisan goods, we’re proud to bring the best of the East Neuk of Fife to our customers each day.
The Farm Retail Association has been a huge part of our journey into opening a farm shop, almost from the beginning. Their conference is a highlight of the year and we very much enjoy their meetings and commitment to standards and improving our industry. We have travelled the length and breadth of the country visiting their members and we’re incredibly proud to be shortlisted for the finals given how many fantastic farm shops there are in the UK.
The next stage is a mystery shop and then a judges visit and we very much look forward to showing them around Ardross.
