We were delighted to be contacted by Visit Scotland last month to feature in a couple of their new spring adverts. These are adverts to inspire people to get outside and visit agritourism farms, getting closer to animals and food. Visit Scotland has a fantastic website is bursting with ideas of farms to visit and places to buy local food.
It was lovely to feature alongside our friends at Old Leckie Farm in Stirlingshire and Craigduckie Shepherds Huts near Dunfermline in Fife. Alison and her family at Old Leckie live on the most beautiful farm that is absolutely steeped in history. You can stay right in the heart of their working farm in their farmstay, buy their fantastic home grown eggs, meat and vegetables or take a farm tour. The Robert’s family at Craigduckie are just a short drive from Edinburgh and have the most amazing shepherd’s huts. Fully immerse yourself in farm life with panoramic views across the countryside, don’t forget their gorgeous outdoor baths. The also provide farm tours to add to your stay.
If you are interested in seeing around our farm then don’t forget we have our Open Day on Saturday 11th May with tickets for our tours available to purchase now. Join us for a walking tour out to see our animals, around into the field to see our vegetables and a chance to get your hands dirty.
We hope you enjoy the advert. You can take a sneaky peak at another advert Visit Scotland produced, see if you can spot us: Spring into Scotland’s Countryside
