AgriScot Diversified Farm of the Year 2022

We won

So this happened yesterday…..

We had the privilege of winning Agriscot Scottish Diversified Farm of the Year!!
We were up against incredibly tough competition from our friends at Wilson’s Farm and Kitchen and What’s Fresh. Four judges visited us and spent the morning touring the farm, learning about our business and quizzing us on future plans. There was more to this than just an application form!
We are delighted that they deemed us worthy of winning the category, it was an incredibly proud moment for us. To be recognised within the agricultural industry itself means a huge amount. There are so many extraordinary businesses, diversifications and sustainable solutions emerging within our sector.
It was mum and dad, Rob and Fiona, who started us on this journey. Their idea, whilst us girls thought they were mad. Turns out our parents do know a lot after all. How lucky we are to be part of this family business, how lucky we are to have each other and a fantastic team supporting us. Without them, we wouldn’t have a business.
A thank you must also go to the massively supportive Scottish Agritourism sector for continually inspiring and challenging us to do better and think bigger. There is no other sector as welcoming and supportive!
Congratulations to all the other winners and runners up yesterday, so many businesses doing amazing things.
