As you may have heard, we are delighted to announce that Nikki had the most perfect baby boy (Jamie) on December 8th 2015. Although we could not be happier for her, we and our customers have missed her smile and knowledge about the shop for the past few months, so we hope she will return to see us all soon.

We have also been closed for a few days this month. This was to get our very necessary new floor, which, even if we do say it ourselves, looks fab! The shop has also been painted and new shelving installed so look out for lots of exciting changes which will hopefully lead to lots more delicious products for you all to try.

New in this week we have a fantastic addition to the much loved Adamson’s Oatcake range with a new cracked black pepper version being launched. We have also been hearing murmurs from Iain and Fiona in the kitchen that they are planning to bring out plenty of additions to their home baking range, including cookies and flapjacks. Of course, there has been no shortage of volunteers for the taste testing. It’s a hard job, but we struggle through!

We have had a few staff changes too. Unfortunately, we lost Tori to her love of horses (should have known nothing gets in between girls and horses!) But we gained Alana, who we know will be a fantastic asset to our team.
Spring in the Loft is on Easter weekend so make sure you pop in to say hello.
